Welcome reception, 6th June

In the end of the first day, there will be a welcome reception with drinks and dutch snacks. It will take place in the main hall of the CWI building, just outside of the conference rooms.

Social event and dinner

The social event is a one and a half hour boat trip, around the canals of Amsterdam, followed by a banquet.

The boat trip is carried out by the Rederij Lovers and will take the participants to see many emblematic places in Amsterdam.

It will start at 17h00 from Mauritskade, next to the Tropenmuseum (check map). We should be back at the departure point around 18h30, giving the participants some time to go back to the hotel or walk around the neighborhood.

At 19h00, we will have dinner at the restaurant De Kas, one of the finest restaurants in Amsterdam, located in the Frankendael Park in the Watergraafsmeer district in Amterdam. The restaurant's building is an old public greenhouse that has been converted by the top chef and michelin star winner Gert Jan Hageman. All the food served is organic, using vegetables grown in the restaurant's greenhouse or by farmers all over Holland.
